The Decision Between MOCHA & My Job, I stayed eventually!!!

Ice Blended Mocha & My Future Job,

Last week, I just decided to stay back at Malaysia after I have discussed the final criterion with my partner. It was awesome because everything is finally done, nothing I need to worry anymore.

Yet, the future career development of mine is not the main reason to cause me do or don’t to stay at Malaysia. In fact, I miss the Ice Blended Mocha, Coffee Bean, Mid Valley so much. I love Ice Blended Mocha and I dare not think of the life without getting the “Drug” in oversea. I therefore chose to stay in Malaysia.

After 9 months seeking opportunity, I have seen the best rea

son to convince me myself to stay back in Malaysia. I know I am sure to have a better career development if I choose to work at oversea, but I am sure I will feel happy if I choose to start my career development in Malaysia. Thanks Drug Mocha, I will always have the chance to feel your support and I’m loving you too. Mocha, I love it so much because it gives me the best support all the time, it gives me the best aspiration to carry on my work, and of course Mocha always brings me the loving-feeling.

On top of that, I love McFlurry Ice Cream, McDonald too. I like the Oreo McFlurry from TC McDonald the most. I wish to be there again and spend a day walk on the beach again, to listen to the natural wave sound, to enjoy the natural view of blue ocean and also I like to see the happiness & sweetness of family and couple. I am sure that the best McFlurry is from TC McDonald because it gives me the best memory and I feel sweet to walk on the TC Beach with having McFlurry there.

Career is just about a part in my life, but Ice Blended Mocha is the most important component in my life, I am sure that. If I would choose Ice Blend Mocha Coffee Bean, Mid Valley, it means I will try my best to seek for the chance to pursue my dream coffee in Malaysia.

There is nothing much special about me, but I have a very strong determination especially for those things are very meant to me. Therefore, I chose to stay back in Malaysia to continue enjoying my time with Ice Blended Mocha and McFlurry. I know they are things that I love the most and I am sure I will feel happy to stay closer with it.

Lastly, I just want to express my strong feeling on Ice Blended Mocha: “When the moment I decided to stay back in Malaysia, it is the moment I decided to look for you, Mocha; When the moment I started seeking the opportunity to stay back in Malaysia, it is because I have never thought of leaving you, Mocha alone.” There might other good coffee/Mocha in other corners of world, but I am so stubborn in the feeling of Ice Blended Mocha, Coffee Bean Mid Valley, it is because I gained my confidence, sweetness, aspiration and ideas there.

What is for Earth Hour? Does Earth Hour is compulsory?

The story behind Earth Hour! What actually Earth Hour stands for? Does Earth Hour is a trend, business strategy or world reminder?

Today, I am wondering why people would like to emphasize the issue of Dooms Day or 2012 or Earth Hour! Do these actions will bring us to the origin of the day born of earth or Mesopotamia or even “ice days”. I am pretty sure our action today will never bring us back to the origin of the born day of earth. The Big Bang Theory, it describes all about the changes of the Earth from the Time, t=0 second to now. It and therefore, the earth will only being polluted by human activities started from Time, t=0. But, we can actually prolong the survival time of earth.

Some people say there is a Dooms Day coming on in 2012! But do you believe that? Today, I have seen many people arguing in the issue of Earth Hour. They argue people to off light for one hour and so and so! But, I sometimes feel that this is just a Market Trend for Earth Hour. Just for your information, the power plant company like Tokyo Electric Power Company will never force the power plant to shut down for one hour. The electric current or carbon dioxide is still being produced to the environment in every second! Do you aware? You off light, but the power plant is still generating CO₂ and electric current!

The shut-down of electrical appliance will never reduce the carbon dioxide. The Earth Hour will never teach you how to bring back us to the origin of the World today. But, only the cultivation of people in the awareness in Environment will ensure us a healthier life style and providing a sustainable environment.

As a student who is doing his Final Year Project in Sustainable Campus, I think I need to share with you what is actually happening today in the Earth! What is the definition of Sustainability?

In the terms of the 1987 Brundtland Report, sustainability is defined as "Meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs." By deriving the definition of Sustainability Development, we could probably come out with two main key concepts which are “The concept of needs, in particular the essential needs of the world's poor, to which overriding priority should be given” and “The idea of limitations imposed by the state of technology and social organization on the environment's ability to meet present and future needs” respectively.

Therefore, the human activities and human development are the main keys to destroy the natural environment of the world today! So, what can we really save the world today? Of course, renewable energy and green technology will ensure the world to survive in environmental-friendly. Enhancing the green tech and renewable energy, the world would be awarded a change to live longer. In your daily living, please try to “Say No” or “Reduce” plastic bags and polystyrene packaging, use own Tupperware, use recyclable products as well. If we can cultivate the Green Mindset of students or citizens, it means we are giving a chance for the Earth to relieve from suffering as well.

Hancock (1997) uses a classic Ven Diagram to illustrate that community sustainability lays at the intersection of people, the environment and the economy. He emphasizes the importance of a liveable built environment, ecological sustainability, environmental viability, community conviviality, social equity, and economic adequacy.

Earth Hour, it is just about Business Trend of Reminder; in fact it does not really help the earth because the CO₂ is still being produced. Earth Hour is just about a part in Social Responsibility. In my personal view on Relieving The Earth’s suffer, I would say that only Green Technology/Green Products or Renewable Energies have the best potential to be promoted since they have covered both Social, Economy and Environment.

Today and tonight is my best ever day in life with the Award of Potential Scholar of UTM 2011.

I strongly believe that this recognition of Potential Scholar is the greatest gift given to me in these four years at UTM. Sincerely, it was not because the achievement or the award I have done or I have received; in fact it was because the recognition towards my contributions and sacrifices throughout the years. I felt touched and I wanted to cry at this Happiest Moment.

Dear everybody, I wish to share my Little Accomplishment with you because there would not be me today if there was not because of your help before. You might just indirectly helping me before, but your help is really meaningful to me.

There are few persons I really wish to thank to:

1. Dear Baba & Mama, I thank to you two for bringing me to the world and always giving me of full rights to make my own decision in life. I am sorry if I could not spend much time with you all these four years. But, I hope that my accomplishment today could balance up my mistakes. Mom, I special thanks to you because you never think of withdrawing from the family when there were many problems we met before; I love you MOM. I thank to baba again because I really salute your hardship, no matter how you scold me before but I will never angry with you because I know you want the best for me.

2. Thanks for my sisters & brother, especially Da Jie. I wanted to thank to Da Jie because she has really inspired me these years. I know you have a hot temper here, but I never put it in my heart because I know you love & care me. That is because you love & care me, so you scold me. I know you would never think that you are so meaningful to me, but I would tell you that you are really a great sister to me. If there were not because you, I am sure that I would not be standing here today and of course your contributions to the family is undeniable. I love you, Da Jie. It is time for me to look after your responsibilities, here I am ready to take over the responsibilities.

3. Thirdly, I wish to thank to Brother-Senior Kar Sing. Thanks for the support these years especially the “black days” in January 2009 whereby how we planned and worked for the best decision in our team. Today, the Potential Scholar Award is for the TEAM. I said so because I believe that the TEAM SPIRIT is the most essential element for us to make a success in life. There are people can have own agenda or personal interest in the TEAM but there would never be CHAI. No matter how, I owed you a “Ren Qing”.

4. Fourthly, I would like to thank to Brother Gary Chon, the best ever brother I met in UTM and life too. Although we just knew each other about 4 years, but I really appreciated what you have supported and reminded me all the time. If there is not because you to keep on supporting, reminding and guiding me in my academic, I think I will not able to get the result of 3.53. If there is not because Brother Gary, I will just walk alone and walked alone. If there is not because Gary again, I will not able to get the Home Sweet Home (爱之家) in UTM. You are best and You Are The Greatest Friend in the world that I have ever met. Your support, loyalty, honesty, loving-kindness and teachings will be always remembered by me in the deepest of heart. I promise you, whenever I am, there must be you too. If I could make a success in life, I will sure that I will bring you along together. No one can really understand how we passed through the tough life, but we were the persons who know all the stories. Thank you Brother Gary, you deserved to share with me the Award.

5. Fifthly, I thank to my hometown friends for supporting me too. Thanks Brother Lawyer Wong and Brother Ting for your kind support and cooperation. I love the time staying at your room, playing games and singing K. Of course, we would be great partners in business soon. If there would be me, you would be there too. Cheers.

6. Sixthly, I thank to my juniors and my comrades in the team. Thanks Nicholas, Siamese Huat, Wei Hong, Wei Bin, and Obama Tey for the kind supports all the time. Remember, we are the greatest combination of team in UTM. The Potential Scholar Award is for you all, not me myself. Thanks Meis, Berlina and other juniors too because you all have been supporting me when I was down and I faced with challenges. 7. Thanks her, you are very meant to me. If there is not because you, I will not work so hard actually. When I chose to be there, I chose to try my best to solve all the problems we had met. Here, I therefore achieved the best and I decided to stay in Malaysia.

8. Special thanks to my strong supporters - country leaders. Thanks YB Liang, YB Wee, YB Chuah, Chinese Association & Chinese Chamber, I always remember the lectures given by you all. Of course, I will do something and contribute back to the society once I step into the big community soon, I promised.

10. Thanks those people that have criticized me before because your criticizes have made me stronger since a good leader is able to accept any kind of criticize from the people. As long as I think I am determined, then I will always endure whatever challenge or criticize.

Thank you and thank you very much. Although I received the award here, but I think there is still not a complete achievement yet. I am sure that the new challenge is waiting for me when I step out to the real society. I therefore to say that I will create a new life for me and a new benchmark for me - The New Life of Woeidar CHAI is Just Began.

The feeling of Caring-loving...

“So when you are listening to somebody, completely, attentively, then you are listening not only to the words, but also to the feeling of what is being conveyed, to the whole of it, not part of it.”

When I look at myself these days, I feel that there must be something goes wrong in my life. Is it my fault to have such unnatural feeling and uncontrollable feeling? It is not because I am being abnormal but in fact there is the reaction of loving feeling today.

“When I took into her eyes, it seems all problems in the world go away and I am floating in the mid-air. When I see she is having problems, I really wish to borrow my shoulders for her; when I see she is in the cross conjunction, I wish I could show my hands and bring her out of the darkness and confuse.”

This is because of the loving feeling, but it is not because the feeling of In Love. When I am right being falling in love with you, I just have my emotion contacted with you and so I always observe your action. You have attracted my mind, but you are yet to drag my heart to tender my feeling of love.

But, I stopped myself from taking any action here though I have such good feeling on you. I stopped it because I believe you could always have a better choice in life. I am not a good candidate for you, I know. I am not a good caring taker, I know. Oh no! I think there is not a solid reason for me to escape from the feeling.

Based on the past experience, I think it is better for me to keep with its relationship as friendship. It is better for me to keep the feeling as brother and sister. I dare not to chase her, until the time I have really stabilized in my financial status. Maybe, and it is because I don’t want to hurt anyone in the world again because I know my abilities at this moment. I am ready to begin a new relationship yet I still don’t have the courage to start it. I am afraid, I am afraid that I will be rejected after I have told her too. But, the most important reason is because I choose to put the priority of stabilizing my financial status, building up a career and providing a sweet home for the future of her. If and so I achieve the criteria above, then I will start my relationship.

When you have experienced the past, you will really be alert in choosing the best for you and the best candidate for you. You need time, I need time and so we could only stand up again to welcome the new life or new relationship. But, if you ask me what to choose for between the new and old one, I think I will tell you that I prefer the Mocha feeling.

Anyway, if I am ready take out my courage then I think I would tell her about my feeling on her one day.

Day and day, I see my "Future" staying back at Malaysia !!!

When everything seems like the final decision last year, it drastically changed into an “unexpected decision”. Here I stay back?

I think, most of you will think that I will seek for the job opportunity in overseas rather than staying in Malaysia after completing my first degree in Univ

ersiti Teknologi Malayisa. Yes, you were right. But, you are wrong today. I am so sorry because I think there is a bigger chance for me to stay back in Malaysia if I can settle my final criterion. I see my “Future” staying in Malaysia, after a 9 months searching chance to convince myself to stay back.

Nevertheless, I guess the only “Criterion” could be easily solved when the April comes to me. Cheers, I am so confident that the “Criterion” would be solved soon. If and so the only criterion is solved, I will stay back in Malaysia.

(Step by steps, my SUCCESS is closer to me now…)

Today, I spoke phone to my sister. Thanks sister for understanding & supporting my decision. Sincerely, I know there are many people hoping me to stay in Malaysia. But, I feel so relax and confident on my right decision when you say you are on with my decision. Thanks sister again.

Dear my Brothers & Sisters of UTM & Mentakab,

I am not sure what the best future is for me today, whether to have a betterment of future by staying in local or working overseas! But, I know my personal value; the determination in success and the attitude in the way to reach success. I believe in the saying of “Enthusiasm makes you succeed in life, Determination drives you into the successful journey & Positive Attitude decides your final destination in SUCCESS”.

These years, I really have gone through many of challenges, disappointments & sadness, and therefore these difficulties have trained me to be a tough man and a tough leader too. I am sure I will bring a bigger achievement in life, to my family, to my friends, to the socie

ty and to the country as well the world too. No matter where I am later, I will still make my life with flying colour because I always remember the special word of RAPE (Responsibility, Attitude, Punctuality and Enthusiasm).

Sunrise & sunset are the phenomenon in life just like up & down in life. Everybody likes to see the winning in life but there are yet for us to achieve it. Winning & losing are just the method for us to gain the experience in life. If we would really like to seek for the winning, then we need to plan well, strategize smart and work hard. If you are being passionate and loving in what you are doing, there must be the Best Outcome in life just like what I am doing now…

Of course, today, I decided to drive myself to my dream of success, from dream and I make it as a reality.

Woeidar CHAI --- 16^th March 2011

When Woeidar CHAI is being Merajuk and thanks for the Surprise too...

Recently, I really wanted to laugh at me myself! I feel like laughing myself because of my recent behavior. I now understand that I need “surprise” and I feel to act “merajuk” now. I think it is a funny “super natural action” that would be done by me.

When I see many of other friends got the surprise from the juniors, I ask myself that why not me too. As a human, I think everybody hopes to get as many as surprises too. But, the surprise given to me is known in the earlier right before the “surprise”. It seems like I know everything about the surprise! So does it consider a Surprise? I think I need to think about it.

Talking about “merajuk”, I think I know how to describe the word of “merajuk” now. I felt, I feel that I am trying to “merajuk” with others. I need to admit that my first impression given to others is a tough & serious man especially to my juniors. Somehow, I started being soft after the campaign. I learnt how to be “merajuk” and how to grumble with them. Haha, I am a Brand New Guy of Woeidar CHAI here…

I changed; I change to be a softer man, softer leader too! I am not sure how could it change these days. I guess it is a norm for a man actually. As a man, he needs care & love too. Same goes for me, I need someone to take care of me myself and I need someone to give me love too. Maybe, I feel tired after many of programmes these years and it is my time to look for a person taker. Sincere speaking, the best time to get a partner is during the campus life. We are so pure and we are so sincere when we are students. If you ask me would I like to have a uni girlfriend, I am sure that I am looking for a suitable candidate.

Anyway, I really feel happy when I see the surprise given by my juniors these days. Sometime, it was not their fault telling me earlier. I know why, it was because they need to confirm my schedule first. If I am free, it means most people will be free too. I still feel touched and surprising even though the surprise is no longer surprise because I knew before the planning, haha…
