Running from grassroots, climbing to the management team and becoming the top spiritual leader – it would be the toughest journey I have been through these years.
From the 1st day, I decided to participate the campus activity or campus election; I know I was acquired to face with all challenges and obstacles from many sides of people, group and others. But, I will never choose to withdraw from the team unless I could achieve the goal and I could bring up the team.
Today and tonight, I decided to write this article and telling people that I am ready to quit as the Spiritual Leader. I have seen the growth of the team these years and I believe that they can go further without the support from me one day.
If you ask me:” Are You Willing To Let Go?”
Then I will answer:” Yes, I do. The world will not stop moving with your absence. I could just only accompany them until here, no further more. They must try their own way and give their best effort to continue serving the team and bringing up the team no matter how.” It is great when you are really committed into the team, by giving 100% to guide the team to achieve another level of achievement. It is GREAT.
Through grassroots, runner, delivery man, leader, and so many position I have been doing these years. Sometimes, I don’t really understand why I could be holding with so many respective positions just like Transformer. I always ready to transform myself into every position according with the situation.During delivering foods, I always try to bargain with the people. Even though it is just 5cents, 10 cents or 20 cents, I will still ask the Tauke to give me some discount. I will never feel embarrassing by asking Tauke to give me the best price. Being a Delivery Man, I always try my best to speed up my Little Motor to make sure the foods are ready to serve to the people within shortest time.
From a Director of Programme, Treasurer of Programme, Secretary of Programme and to be a Unit Supporter, I understand all the roles of programme. That is why I know where is the best place to buy stationeries, to buy tools, to make clothes, to by foods, to type letters, to do minutes, to propose budget and etc. These years, I really have been running through all the process.
Sincere speaking, I never feel tired of doing these things. But, I know I must stop doing these things in very soon since I need to transform myself to another higher level of life-long learning which is Real World (Big Society or Community). The university life is great, but I somehow need to shift my platform eventually.
Anyhow, I just wish all the best to the upcoming leaders and team players. Remember, you need to be responsible to the team, society, community and others. If you think you want to be thankful to me upon my helps & supports, then I think you are advised to help more people and serve the needed persons. As I always mention, Give & Take is the best principle to keep in mind.
Of course, I just want to see more people are being helped by you all one day. If you could help more people, it means that you have returned everything to me!
